This chart is based in part on the Robert Oden's lecture God and Mankind, wherein he formulates a list of solutions to what he calls the "trilemma" of human suffering, namely how can a deity that is both omnipotent and benevolent tolerate the suffering of innocent humans? The following is P.K.'s charting of the solutions he proposes.
